In The Beginning

Zach and Nikki wanted a new home that was bigger than their current house and would better suit their growing family. They needed a place they could raise their kids and enjoy for many years to come. They knew they wanted a home with main level living and a walkout lower level, so that is where we started. After Zach and Nikki found the ideal property in the Twin Cities area, we worked with Meyer Design to help them move from dream to reality through planning, design, and build.

About The Build

On the main floor we used an open concept design, with the kitchen, living room, and dining room, along with nine-foot ceilings and many large windows to make the space feel big and open. We installed a gas fireplace with a beautiful stone wall and bookshelves to help the living room feel warm and welcoming. We also made both the laundry room and mudroom spacious, so it would be most efficient for the family.

Nikki and Zach wanted their home to meet the needs of their family, so we built a bedroom for each of their three kids on the walk out level and a master suite on the main floor. The master suite featured a soaking tub and a walk-in shower, so it would be the perfect place to relax and refresh. For the walkout lower level, we designed the family room space to be large and comfortable, so it could be an additional place to relax and entertain.
